I graduated from The University of Texas in Austin with my Masters in Social Work, and did my internship in Tanzania at an AIDS clinic. I have had the good fortune to live in Honduras and Sydney Australia as well. It is through these experiences that I have come to understand that while each of us is unique we are all connected and need many of the same things.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two kids, and our dog Honeybee. I am also very passionate about training Muay Thai!
